The Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) has announced the recruitment of 42 faculty positions across various departments on a regular basis. Interested and eligible candidates should review the IHBAS Faculty Recruitment 2024 Notification and submit their applications through offline mode by August 14, 2024.

IHBAS Faculty Eligibility Criteria 2024:

Candidates must have a degree from a government-recognized university or an equivalent qualification such as a master’s degree, MD/MS, M.ch, D.M, etc. Detailed eligibility criteria for different posts are as follows:

• Professor (Medical and Non-Medical):
  • Medical: MD/MS or equivalent; 14 years of teaching/research experience, with 4 years in a similar position.
  • Non-Medical: Ph.D. or equivalent; 14 years of teaching/research experience, with 4 years as an Associate Professor.
• Additional Professor (Medical and Non-Medical):
  • Medical: MD/MS or equivalent; 10 years of teaching/research experience, with 4 years as an Associate Professor.
  • Non-Medical: Ph.D. or equivalent; 10 years of teaching/research experience, with 4 years as an Associate Professor.
• Associate Professor (Medical and Non-Medical):
  • Medical: MD/MS or equivalent; 6 years of teaching/research experience, with 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
  • Non-Medical: Ph.D. or equivalent; 6 years of teaching/research experience, with 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
• Associate Professor (Psychiatric Nursing):
  • Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent; 8 years of experience, with 5 years in teaching/research at a recognized institution.
• Assistant Professor (Psychiatric Nursing):
  • Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent; 3 years of teaching/research experience.

IHBAS Selection Process 2024:

The selection process for IHBAS faculty positions includes three main stages:

1. Application:
   • Candidates must submit a complete application form with all necessary documents and the required fee. Applications are screened to ensure eligibility.

   • Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview to evaluate their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the position.
