About Candidate

I am a veterinarian and researcher with a Ph.D. in Nutritional Immunology, specializing in gut health, microbiology, and immunology. My academic journey began with a master’s degree under the mentorship of Dr. Ramesh, which I seamlessly transitioned into a Ph.D. program at the University of Georgia. With a solid foundation in in-vivo and in-vitro experimental models, I bring expertise in experimental design, data analysis, bioinformatics, and various molecular biology techniques.

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Auburn University, where I focus my research on poultry health, gut microbial dynamics, and immune responses. My research leverages metagenomic and metatranscriptomic analyses to unravel complex host-microbiome interactions, particularly during disease and dietary interventions.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong collaborative and communication skills, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications, awards, and successful interdisciplinary projects. Additionally, I have reviewed scientific articles for leading journals, contributing to advancements in animal health and nutrition.

I am passionate about translating research into impactful solutions for the livestock and food industries, with a specific interest in advancing gut health through innovative R&D approaches.
