I am Jinsy K Mathai, a dedicated research scholar and lecturer in Economics with a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in teaching and research. I have successfully completed my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics at Christ Deemed to be University, Bangalore (2018-2025), where I also serve as an Administration Support (Full-Time Research Scholar).
With prior experience as a lecturer in Economics at BTI College, Bangalore (2018) and Jai Bharat College of Arts and Commerce, Kerala (2017-2018), I have honed my expertise in teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership. My research primarily focuses on sex reassignment surgery and the well-being of transgender individuals in India, economic policies for health inclusion, solid waste management, and women empowerment.
I hold an M.Phil. in Economics (92%) and a Master’s in Economics (80%) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, reflecting a strong academic record. Additionally, I have actively contributed to international conferences and publications, engaging in discussions on poverty, development, sustainability, and transgender well-being.
Passionate about both research and teaching, I aim to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world economic challenges. My commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, and academic excellence makes me a valuable asset to any institution or organization.
