About Candidate
I’m currently pursuing my PhD in the department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from IIT Bombay. My area of interest involves Density Functional Theory (DFT) and magnetic materials. I’m happy to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained in my career in order to manage projects through creative problem solving and innovative thinking. I possess a strong eye for detail and can thrive independently as well as in a team environment.
Whether you need someone for a short-term project, or a long-term collaboration, I’d love to hear from you. You’re invited to explore my work and contact me so we can discuss how we can do some great work together.

I'm currently pursuing my PhD in the department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from IIT Bombay. My area of interest involves Density Functional Theory (DFT) and magnetic materials. Permanent magnets have always excited me from the very beginning and requires to have a high Curie temperature, a sizable saturation magnetization and large coercivity with perpendicular magneto-crystalline anisotropy energy. Due to the rare earth crisis the elements like Sm, Nd and Dy; widely used in modern day permanent magnets, have become critical and the demand of the moment is to search for rare earth free permanent magnets. Heusler alloys offer a large compositional space with symmetry lowering structural transition that can give uniaxial magnetic anisotropy. My current work is based on searching for Heusler alloys with permanent magnet applications.
