Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to manage financial records, handle transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements.
- Process payroll, invoices, and payments promptly.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Conduct financial audits and address discrepancies.
- Prepare tax returns and statutory filings.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Provide financial status reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
