Position Description:
The department seeks candidates with a focus in Empirical Macroeconomics, with interests in areas such as:
- Financial Economics
- Labor Markets and Unemployment
- Economic History
- Big Data or Financial Data Analysis
The selected candidate will:
- Teach intermediate macro theory, introductory and advanced econometrics (cross-sectional or time series), and field-specific electives
- Conduct scholarly research and publish findings
- Advise student research projects

Qualifications:
Required:
- Ph.D. in Economics (completed by August 2026)
Preferred Areas of Expertise:
- Macroeconomic labor markets

Salary:
$84,000 – $89,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
