Position Description
This teaching job includes a five-course annual load focused on photography and digital media:
- Introductory and upper-level photography (film and digital)
- Photoshop, video, and audio techniques
- Capstone studio art course
- Additional courses based on candidate’s expertise (e.g., graphic design, animation)
Additional responsibilities:
- Oversight of photography facilities and student workers
- Collaborative engagement in departmental events
- Potential for future administrative leadership as department chair
Qualifications
Required:
- Completed MFA in Photography
- Experience teaching photography and new media at the undergraduate level
Preferred:
- Expertise in additional digital arts (graphic design, animation, professional practices)
- Interest in sustainability, accessibility, DEI, and community engagement
- Proven leadership potential
Salary Range:
$74,190 – $79,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience)
