Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
- NET/SLET/SET qualification conducted by UGC/ICAR/CSIR OR exemption through Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
- Ph.D. candidates registered before 11 July 2009 must fulfill all UGC exemption conditions including publications and viva-voce.
- Ph.D. degree from a foreign university ranked within the Top 500 (QS/THE/ARWU) is also eligible.
- Mandatory: B.V.Sc. / B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from institutions recognized under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
- Ph.D. degree as per UGC 2016 regulations is desirable.
Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be appointed under Academic Level 10 with a rationalized entry pay of:
- ₹57,700 per month
- Additional DA, HRA, and allowances as per Tamil Nadu State Government norms
