The University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business is inviting applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the fields of Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, or Strategic Management.

Assistant Professor of Management at USC Columbia

Position Description:

This tenure-track role offers an excellent platform for teaching and research in areas including:

  • Human Resources
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Strategic Management

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting high-quality, publishable research
  • Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses
  • Participating in outreach via research centers and partnerships
  • Collaborating with a highly productive and engaged research faculty community

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Doctoral degree (by August 2026) in Management or a closely related field
  • Strong potential for or demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier journals
  • Ability to engage in corporate and community outreach
  • Alignment with the research focus areas of OB/HR/Strategic Management

Preferred:

  • Experience securing external funding (private, state, or federal)

Salary Range:

$177,148 – $182,462 (based on experience and qualifications)

Start Date:

August 16, 2026
