Eligibility Criteria
A. Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale system) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign University.
- Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR.
- Exemption from NET is applicable as per clause (ii) & (iii) of the general note in the official notification.

B. Ph.D. Qualification
- The Ph.D. degree should be obtained from a foreign University/Institution ranked among the Top 500 Universities globally by:
- Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
- Times Higher Education (THE)
- Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Note: Academic scores will be considered for shortlisting candidates, but the final selection will be based on interview performance.
