Eligibility & Qualifications
Assistant Professor Eligibility
- Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in relevant/allied subject
- NET/SLET/SET qualified OR Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016
- Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009 are exempted from NET subject to UGC conditions
- NET exemption applicable where NET is not conducted
- Foreign Ph.D. holders from Top 500 ranked universities (QS/THE/ARWU) are eligible
Associate Professor Eligibility
- Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied discipline
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
- At least 7 research publications in UGC CARE / peer-reviewed journals
- Minimum research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations 2018
Professor Eligibility
- Ph.D. degree with minimum 10 research publications
- Total research score of 120 as per UGC norms
- Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience
- Experience in guiding doctoral candidates preferred
- Outstanding professionals from industry with Ph.D. and 10 years experience are also eligible
Salary & Benefits
- Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 (Level-14)
- Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100 (Level-13A)
- Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 (Level-10)
In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates are entitled to DA, HRA, Medical Benefits, Pension, Leave Benefits, and Research Support as per Gujarat Government and university norms.
