The Central University of Haryana, located in Jant-Pali village, Mahendragarh district, Haryana, was established through the Central Universities Act, 2009. Spread across 500 acres, it is one of the fifteen new central universities created by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, during the XI Five-Year Plan (2007–2012).
