About the Organization
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu was established on May 1, 2016, following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, and the MHRD, Government of India. The institute is located at Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota, Jammu, just 15 km from the airport, with a campus strategically situated along National Highway NH-44.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Post-graduation in any discipline of Life Sciences from a recognized university with at least 60% marks (General category).
- 55% marks for OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience desirable.
Desirable Qualifications
- MSc/M Pharm/M Tech in Biosciences or any discipline of life sciences.
- Proficiency in computer applications, data management, MS Office, and email communications.
Job Location
- Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India
Duration
- Initially 1 year, extendable yearly based on performance and requirements.
Pay Scale
- ₹35,000 per month
