Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. or 13 years total (excluding Ph.D. period); 7 years after Ph.D.; at least 4 years as Associate Professor.
Associate Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience: 6 years post-Ph.D. or 9 years total; 3 years as Assistant Professor at AGP ₹8000 or equivalent.
Assistant Professor Grade I
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience: 3 years post-Ph.D. or 6 years after M.Tech./M.E./M.Des.
Assistant Professor Grade II
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year post-Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
Pay Scale
- Professor: Level 14A
- Associate Professor: Level 13A2
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Level 12
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Level 11
- Assistant Professor: Level 10
