Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam, a premier institution under the Government of India, has released its Recruitment notification. The institute is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in various disciplines.
About the Institution
Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) is one of the new-generation IIMs, established in 2015 by the Government of India. Declared as an Institution of National Importance under the IIM Act 2017, IIMV is dedicated to achieving global standards in management education and research. It is presently functioning from a state-of-the-art facility located within the Andhra University campus, Visakhapatnam.

Qualifications
For all positions:
- Ph.D. or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the preceding degree.
- Proven track record in teaching, training, research, and publishing in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
Experience Requirements
Professor:
- 10 years post-qualification experience in teaching/research/industry.
- Minimum 4 years at the Associate Professor level in top-tier institutions like IIMs, IITs, IISc, etc.
Associate Professor:
- 6 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years at the Assistant Professor level in reputed institutions.
Assistant Professor (Grade-I):
- 3 years of relevant post-PhD experience in reputed institutions.
Assistant Professor (Grade-II):
- Up to 3 years of post-PhD experience is desirable in recognized institutions.
Pay Scale (As per 7th CPC)
- Professor: Pay Level 14A – ₹1,59,100/- + allowances
- Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 – ₹1,39,600/- + allowances
- Assistant Professor Grade-I:
- Pay Level 12 – ₹1,01,500/- + allowances
- Pay Level 13A1 – ₹1,31,400/- + allowances
- Assistant Professor Grade-II:
- Pay Level 10 – ₹70,900/- + allowances
- Pay Level 11 – ₹71,000/- + allowances
Note: Higher start may be offered for deserving candidates.
