Professor

• Pay Level: Academic Pay Level-14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200)
• Minimum Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in relevant field
  • 10 years teaching/research experience
  • 10 research publications (UGC-listed journals)
  • Total research score of 120
  • OR outstanding professional with Ph.D. and significant contributions

Associate Professor

• Pay Level: Academic Pay Level-13A (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100)
• Minimum Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline
  • Master’s degree with 55% marks
  • 8 years teaching/research experience
  • 7 peer-reviewed publications
  • Total research score of 75

Assistant Professor

• Pay Level: Academic Pay Level-10 (₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400)
• Minimum Requirements:
  • Master’s degree with 55% marks
  • NET/SLET/SET qualified or Ph.D. as per UGC norms
  • Additional exemption for Ph.D. holders from top 500 global universities (QS/THE/ARWU)
