Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor
Eligibility (A or B):
A.
- Master’s degree in the relevant field with 50% marks or equivalent grade.
- Must have cleared NET/SET/SLET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC norms.
- Candidates registered for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, must fulfill specific UGC conditions regarding publication, evaluation, viva, etc.
B.
- Ph.D. obtained from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 globally as per QS/THE/Shanghai Rankings.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. Degree in the relevant field.
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Total research score of 75 as per UGC guidelines.
Pay Scale
- Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100/-
- Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400/-
