About the Institution

Dhanraj Baid Jain College was founded under the auspices of the TEAM Trust and was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. M. Karunanidhi, on 30th June 1972 at Mahalingapuram. Subsequently, the college moved to a spacious 42-acre campus in Jyothi Nagar, Okkiyam Thorappakkam, Chennai – 97.

The foundation stone of the main building was laid by the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri K.K. Shah, in May 1974. The college has always been committed to providing high-quality commerce-oriented education. An experienced management committee oversees the institution’s development and administration.
