IIM Jammu, located in the picturesque region of Jammu & Kashmir, is one of the newest IIMs in India. The institute currently operates from its temporary campus at Govt. College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu, and will soon shift to a sprawling 200-acre permanent campus at Jagti, Nagrota Road, Jammu.

Qualifications
Professors
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline with a first-class or equivalent grade in the preceding degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching, research, or industry.
- At least 4 years of post-Ph.D. experience as Associate Professor in reputed institutes like IITs, IIMs, IISc, or foreign institutions of comparable standards.
- High research, training, and consulting credentials.
- First-class grades in Bachelor’s, Master’s, Class XII, and Class X (5% relaxation for SC/ST/DAP and 3% for OBC).
- Minimum two papers in A*/A** category journals or equivalent.
Professor of Practice
- 20+ years of relevant experience in industry or government.
- Minimum 5 years at a senior-level position.
- Ph.D. desirable but not essential.
- First-class grades in Bachelor’s, Master’s, Class XII, and Class X.
Senior Consultants
- Post-graduation or Ph.D. from a reputed institute.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience.
- Individuals aged 55+ with a significant contribution to their fields can apply.
Pay Scale
- Professor (Level 14 A): Rs. 1,59,100 – 2,20,200 (Entry Pay: Rs. 1,59,100)
- Senior Consultant: Rs. 1,50,000 per month
Candidate Profile
- UG/PG in relevant discipline with strong academic records.
- Passion for teaching and student guidance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong research background.
