Quinnipiac University, located in Hamden, Connecticut, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Computer Science at the Assistant Professor level, beginning Fall 2025. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the recruitment efforts and contributing to the launch and development of Quinnipiac’s upcoming MS in Informatics program. Assistant Professor – Computer Science (Tenure Track)

Position Description:
The selected candidate will:
- Develop and teach courses in Informatics and Computer Science at both undergraduate and graduate levels
- Assist in curriculum development for the new MS in Informatics program
- Establish a scholarly research agenda (preferably with potential for external funding)
- Guide and mentor students through academic and research initiatives
- Engage in relevant university and community service activities
Education Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field (required before position start date)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research
- Specialization in Informatics, Data Science, or Big Data
- Strong communication and interpersonal collaboration skills
- Experience working with diverse student and faculty communities
- Familiarity with current trends in computing and higher education
