Qualification Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
- Must have qualified NET/SET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (2009/2016 or amendments).
- Candidates who obtained their Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, must fulfill the following:
- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
- Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners.
- Open viva voce conducted.
- At least two research papers published from Ph.D. work (one in refereed journal).
- Two papers presented at conferences/seminars funded by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agency.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. from a top 500 global university as per QS, THE, or ARWU are also eligible.
