Qualifications

Head of the Department (Mechanical)

• Option 1: Ph.D. in a relevant field with first class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant discipline and minimum 12 years of Teaching/Research/Industry experience (including at least 2 years post-Ph.D. at Lecturer (Selection Grade) level).
• Option 2: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines with first class and minimum 15 years of Teaching/Research/Industry experience (including at least 3 years at Lecturer (Selection Grade–II) level).

Lecturer (Civil, Mechanical, ECE, Agri Engg)

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent
• OR Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines with First Class in either

Lecturer (Chemistry, English)

• Master’s degree in the subject with First Class or equivalent
• OR Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in a relevant subject, and must have cleared NET/SLET/SET as per UGC norms

Junior Assistant / Store Keeper

• Minimum General Educational Qualification with eligibility for TNPSC Recruitment (Passed SSLC in a recognized school)

Salary Details

• Head of the Department: AICTE Scale Level 13A1 – ₹1,31,400 to ₹2,04,700
• Lecturer: AICTE Scale Level 9A – ₹56,100 to ₹1,82,400
• Junior Assistant / Store Keeper: Level 08 – ₹19,500 to ₹62,000
