- Visiting Assistant Professor – Computer Science
- Employment Type: Full-Time | One-Year Appointment | Non-Tenure Track

Position Description:
The successful candidate will begin their appointment on August 1, 2025, and will be responsible for teaching 12 credit hours per semester (typically four courses). This includes early evening and potentially online or hybrid classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses at the 100, 200, and higher levels.
- Primary programming languages: Java and/or Python.
- Preference for expertise in:
- Cybersecurity
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Operating Systems
- Web, Game, or Mobile Development
- Foundational Computer Science courses
- Participate in both in-person and online instruction.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience or willingness to teach in multiple modalities (face-to-face and online)
- Ability to teach foundational and intermediate programming courses
Preferred:
- Ph.D. or ABD in Computer Science or related discipline
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence in computing disciplines
Salary and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
