Position Description:
The selected faculty member will be responsible for developing and teaching an introductory chemistry course tailored for health science majors, aligning with the learning goals of the nursing curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop course content in collaboration with nursing faculty
- Work with the instructional design team for material development
- Maintain subject matter expertise and instructional quality
- Facilitate student learning and assessment
- Support students in acquiring knowledge, skills, and professional competencies
- Maintain confidential student records and grades
Qualifications:
Required:
- Undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- Graduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Chemistry or a related discipline
- Healthcare professionals (e.g., PharmD, CRNA) are encouraged to apply
Preferred:
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level
