Eligibility & Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Assistant Professor Grade II (Contract): No minimum experience required
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D. experience OR 6 years of total teaching/research/industry experience
- Experience should be from reputed academic institutions, R&D labs, or relevant industries
Salary & Benefits – Assistant Professor Pay Scale
- Assistant Professor Grade II (Contract): Pay Level 10 (7th CPC) – equivalent to PB-3 with Grade Pay ₹6000
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12 (7th CPC) – equivalent to PB-3 with Grade Pay ₹8000
