Job Description

The Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, has released its Recruitment Notification for the posts of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Eligible candidates are invited to apply both online and through postal submission within the given deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

For Associate Professor (Biomedical Engineering)

  • B.E/B.Tech./B.S. and M.E/M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level.
  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience (with at least 2 years post-Ph.D. experience).
  • At least 7 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE-approved journals.
  • A total academic score of 75 as per UGC Regulations 2018.
  • At least 2 research publications in Biomedical Engineering post-Ph.D. in SCI/UGC/AICTE-approved journals.

For Assistant Professor (Chemistry)

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Minimum 50% marks in a Master’s degree and at least 55% marks in two preceding examinations.
  • NET qualification in Chemical Sciences.
  • Candidates with a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations 2018 are exempted from NET.

Pay Scale

  • Associate Professor: Pay Level-13A [₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100]
  • Assistant Professor: Pay Level-10 [₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400]
