Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, has announced recruitment for Assistant Professor positions on a contract basis. This opportunity is open to eligible candidates in the Department of Computer Applications.

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a government-owned autonomous science and technology university located in Kochi, Kerala. Established in 1971, the university operates two campuses — one in Kochi and another in Kuttanad, Alappuzha.

Job Details

• Position: Assistant Professor
• Department: Department of Computer Applications
• Type of Employment: Contract
• Job Location: Kochi, Kerala
• Monthly Salary:
  • ₹42,000/- for Ph.D. holders
  • ₹40,000/- for other contract teachers

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must meet any one of the following criteria:

• Option 1:
  B.E/ B.Tech /B.S. and M.E/ M.Tech /M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
• Option 2:
  B.E./B.Tech and MCA with First Class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees.
• Option 3:
  Graduation of three years’ duration with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and MCA with First Class or equivalent, along with 2 years of relevant experience after acquiring the MCA degree.
