High School Science Teacher at Father Megret High School

Position Description:

The selected candidate will:

  • Deliver science instruction aligned with the Saskatchewan Curriculum
  • Promote a positive, culturally aware classroom environment
  • Support holistic child development: social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Actively assess and document student learning
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and community members to support student success
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related discipline
  • Eligible for or possession of a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate

Preferred:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree related to science education
  • Experience teaching First Nations students in remote communities
  • Valid First Aid Certification
