The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Sonepat, Haryana has released an official notification inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor (on contract for fixed duration). Eligible and interested candidates can apply through postal mode before the last date — 24th October 2025.

About the Institute

Established in 2013 under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sonepat is among the 20 new IIITs approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The institute began its academic session in 2014.

Job Title: Assistant Professor (on Contract for Fixed Duration – OCFD)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• UG and PG in the relevant field
• Ph.D. awarded in the relevant field
• Consistently good academic record throughout

Desirable Qualification

• CSIR / UGC-NET / JRF qualification preferred

   • Ph.D. Certificate
4. Enclose all documents in an envelope superscribed as:

Document Verification

Applicants shortlisted for the interview must produce original certificates and a valid ID proof during the document verification process. Failure to present the original documents will result in disqualification from the selection process.
