Job Description

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una (IIIT Una) has announced recruitment for the posts of Faculty Member (On Contract) and Associate Faculty Member (On Contract). This is a temporary engagement for a fixed duration in the School of Basic Sciences (SoBS).

IIIT Una is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic professionals with an excellent academic record from Secondary School to Ph.D.

Organization Profile

Indian Institute of Information Technology Una (Saloh) is one of the 20 IIITs established under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of Himachal Pradesh, HP Power Corporation Limited, and HP Transmission Corporation Limited.

Currently, IIIT Una is being mentored by the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, until its permanent campus at Saloh, Una, becomes fully operational.

Admissions to its undergraduate programs are conducted through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

School of Basic Sciences (SoBS)

Mathematics

• Ph.D. in Mathematics with MSc. in Mathematics (First Class or CGPA 6.5/10)
• BSc. in Mathematics (First Class or CGPA 6.5/10)

English

• Ph.D. in English with MA in English (First Class or CGPA 6.5/10)
• BA in English (First Class or CGPA 6.5/10)

Desirable Criteria

• Quality research publications
• Teaching/Research experience
• Qualified SET/NET

Remuneration

• Rs. 90,000/- per month (for Ph.D. awarded candidates)
• Rs. 60,000/- per month (for Ph.D. thesis submitted candidates)
