IIT Guwahati: Project Associate PMU at MeitY Delhi

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, renowned for its teaching and research excellence, is inviting applications for Project Associate PMU under the Indian Nanoelectronics Users’ Programme – Idea to Innovation (INUP-i2i). This temporary position is open to eligible candidates looking for faculty recruitment opportunities in teaching and research roles, especially those with expertise in project management and nanotechnology.

College Profile

Founded in 1994, IIT Guwahati is the sixth institute of the IIT family and has rapidly established itself as a leading center of higher education and research. It boasts a campus spread over 285 hectares along the Brahmaputra River, 20 km from Guwahati city. The institute offers a range of programs, including B.Tech., M.Tech., M.Sc., and Ph.D., across 11 departments, with a focus on engineering, science, and humanities.

  • PhD in Science/Engineering
  • Expertise in project management (preferably at MeitY Delhi)
  • Project Overview: INUP is a multi-institutional proposal involving 5 IITs and IISc. IIT Guwahati is responsible for managing the Project Management Unit (PMU) at MeitY, Delhi. The appointed candidate will coordinate project activities and deliverables across these institutions.

Remuneration:

Rs. 50,000 per month

Candidate Profile:

  • UG/PG in a relevant discipline with strong academic records
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for teaching and guiding students
  • Proven research track record

6 months
