Job Details
- Job Title: Assistant Registrar (Administration & Purchase)
- Employment Type: Contract
- Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
- Scale of Pay: ₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience
- Duration: Initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance and institutional needs
Qualifications & Skills
- Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or equivalent
- Knowledge of the Government of India’s administrative and purchase procedures, rules, and regulations, with the ability to handle procurement through GeM (Government e-Marketplace)
- Desirable Experience:
- Relevant experience in procurement within one of the following:
- Central or State Universities or Research Institutions
- Central or State Government departments and agencies
- Autonomous Bodies under the Government
- Port Trusts
- Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
- Public Sector Banks or Financial Institutions
- Proficiency in Information, Communication & Technology (ICT)
- Relevant experience in procurement within one of the following:

- Educational Background: UG/PG in a relevant discipline with a strong academic record
- Skills: Excellent communication and a good research record
- Passion: A commitment to supporting and guiding students
