Salary and Benefits

IGIDR follows the Seventh Pay Commission pay scales applicable to IITs and IIMs.

  • Basic Pay (Level 12): ₹1,01,500/- per month plus DA, HRA, and TRA.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Ph.D. in the relevant specialization.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
  • Candidates with strong records of external research/consultancy grants will be given preference.

Publications

  • Minimum 3 publications in peer-reviewed journals (Scopus/ABDC/ABS ranked).
  • At least 2 publications should be in Scopus Q1 or ABDC A/A journals*.

Special Considerations

  • Less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience: May be considered for Assistant Professor (Contract).
  • Fresh Ph.D. holders or thesis submitted: Eligible for Visiting Fellow (contractual, up to 2 years, consolidated pay ₹1,19,493/-).
