Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi, invites applications from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a cybersecurity project under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT), Main Campus.

Position Details
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01
- Duration: 1 year (Extendable to one more year)
- Emoluments: ₹31,000/- + HRA (Total ₹38,440/-)
Qualifications
- Essential Qualifications:
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course, selected through any of the following processes:- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests (NET) such as CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship) or GATE
- Selection through national-level examinations conducted by central government departments/agencies like DST, DBT, DRDO, MHRD, etc.
- Desirable Qualifications:
M.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks in any branch of Computer Science/Information Technology. Experience in computer science, IoT, machine learning, and security is preferred.
Job Description
The selected candidate will work on data security and governance for IoT networks in healthcare applications within Cyber Physical Systems, using trusted/cryptographic/homomorphic approaches. The candidate will also generate data from IoT devices for experiments and testing. Ph.D. enrolment may be considered if the candidate is found suitable according to institute norms.

- All service conditions will be as per DST’s Office Memorandum SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019.
- The position is temporary and renewable based on satisfactory performance. It is co-terminus with the project.
- Proof of age, certificates, degrees, and other documents must be uploaded via the Google form provided.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Possession of essential/desirable qualifications does not guarantee selection. Candidates will be selected based on their interview performance.
- This position is purely project-based and does not offer any claim for a regular appointment at NSUT.
