Essential Qualifications:

• PhD in Materials Chemistry
• Proven research experience in experimental materials science, with publications in reputable journals.
• At least two years of experience running a teaching laboratory in a university or equivalent institute.
• Proficiency in using equipment such as:
  • UV-vis Spectrophotometer
  • Fluorimeter
  • I-V and C-V Measurement Systems

Job Description:

The Laboratory Demonstrator will be responsible for:

• Supervising PG research laboratories within the School of Materials Sciences (SMS) at IACS.
• Providing laboratory instruction and guidance to both UG and PG students.
• Maintaining non-trivial research facilities shared by the school.
• Carrying out research assignments as directed by the School Chair.

Tenure and Remuneration:

• This is a temporary position for one year, with the possibility of extension for up to two additional years, based on performance.
• Candidates will not have the right to claim permanent posts at the institute.
• Remuneration will be provided as per the rules of IACS.
