Job Description

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, an Institution of National Importance under the NIT Act 2007 and fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites applications for Ad-hoc Faculty positions in the School of Management Studies and Department of Chemistry.

These faculty positions are purely contractual in nature and will be filled through a walk-in interview process. Eligible and committed Indian nationals with academic excellence are encouraged to apply.

Ad-hoc Faculty Positions

1. School of Management Studies

  • Number of Vacancies: 03 [Unreserved]
  • Post: Ad-hoc Faculty (Full-time, contract basis)
  • Qualification:
    • Master’s degree in the relevant discipline
    • PhD preferred (MBA in Financial Management / Human Resource Management desirable)
    • Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI in both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees
  • Remuneration: ₹70,900/- per month (Consolidated)
  • Walk-In Date: 07 August 2025
  • Time & Venue: From 09:30 AM onwards at School of Management Studies, MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj

2. Department of Chemistry

  • Number of Vacancies: 02 [Unreserved]
  • Post: Ad-hoc Faculty (Full-time, contract basis)
  • Qualification:
    • PhD in Chemistry from a recognized university/institute
    • AND
      • At least 1 year of teaching experience post-PhD at NITs/IITs/Institutes of National Importance
      • OR Minimum 3 years of Post-Doctoral Fellowship or Research from internationally reputed organizations with publications in high-impact journals
  • Remuneration: ₹70,900/- per month (Consolidated)
  • Walk-In Date: 01 August 2025
  • Time & Venue: From 09:30 AM onwards at Department of Chemistry, MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj

General Information

  • Engagement will be on a purely temporary basis for a maximum of 11 months.
  • Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before attending the walk-in.
  • Reporting after one hour of the scheduled time will lead to disqualification from the selection process.

  • Reach the venue (respective department) at MNNIT Allahabad on the scheduled date by 09:30 AM.
  • Carry original documents for verification, along with one set of self-attested copies.
  • Prepare an updated CV/resume with academic details, experience, and contact information.
  • Bring passport-size photographs (as required).
  • Ensure timely arrival as latecomers (post one hour) will not be allowed to participate.
