Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology (GKCIET), Malda, West Bengal, invites applications for non-teaching posts as part of faculty recruitment 2025. Indian nationals with the required qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Available Non-Teaching Positions

• Junior Engineer (Civil): 1 post (UR)
• Junior Assistant: 1 post (UR)

Note: UR = Unreserved

Eligibility Criteria

1. Junior Engineer (Civil) (Group-B, 7th CPC Level-6)

• Essential Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering/Technology or equivalent with first class or equivalent.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years

2. Junior Assistant (Group-C, 7th CPC Level-2)

• Essential Qualification: Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in computer word processing and spreadsheets.
• Desirable: Proficiency in additional computer, secretarial, and stenography skills.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 27 years

Terms and Conditions

• Applicants must be Indian citizens.
• Selection for Junior Engineer and Junior Assistant positions will involve a written test and skill test.
• The appointment will be regular, subject to a two-year probation period.
• The retirement age for non-teaching positions is 60 years.
• House Rent Allowance is provided if campus accommodation is unavailable.
• Appointees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme.

   • Complete the online form between 21st January 2025 to 10th February 2025 (midnight).
   • Upload:
     • Latest passport-size photograph
     • Self-attested birth certificate or matriculation proof
     • Educational certificates (Matriculation onwards)
     • Experience certificates
     • Reservation certificates (if applicable)
2. Application Fee:
   • General/OBC: ₹1500
   • SC/ST: ₹500
   • PWD/Women: Exempt
3. Hard Copy Submission:
   • Post the signed hard copy of the application with supporting documents to:

   • Deadline: 14th February 2025 (5 PM)
