Panjab University Recruitment 2024 – Field/Research Investigator Positions

Panjab University, Chandigarh, is inviting applications for Field/Research Investigator positions on a contract basis for various SIA projects. These are temporary roles for three months, offering a great opportunity to work in social impact assessment projects. Candidates with relevant qualifications can apply for these research roles.

1. SIA Project: Land Acquisition for Mohalke Minor Canal (District Amritsar)

  • Position: Field/Research Investigator (01 post)
  • Interview Date: 16th September 2024, 11:00 AM
  • Venue: Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh

2. SIA Project: Land Acquisition for Bhawanigarh Minor (District Sangrur)

  • Position: Field/Research Investigator (02 posts)
  • Interview Date: 23rd September 2024, 11:00 AM
  • Venue: Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh

Essential Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate in Anthropology or allied social sciences with:
    • 55% marks (General category)
    • 50% marks (SC/ST category)
  • Age: Below 40 years

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in fieldwork and independent data collection.
  • Punjabi language proficiency preferred.

Emoluments:

  • Rs. 36,000/- per month (consolidated).
