Qualifications

• M.A. in Economics with a minimum 55%
• NET/SET or Ph.D. in the relevant subject as per UGC norms
• Candidates registered for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, are exempt from NET/SET if they meet all the following conditions:
  • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
  • Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners
  • Open viva voce conducted
  • At least two research papers published (one in a refereed journal)
  • At least two conference/seminar presentations supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agencies
• Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the PG level

Pay Scale

• Consolidated salary of ₹25,000/- per month or
• ₹500/- per hour
