About the Competition
CARCIL proudly presents the 4th Justice U.P. Singh Memorial CNLU National Moot Court Competition on Antitrust Laws, 2025. This year’s moot encourages in-depth exploration of competition law, with a specific focus on challenges faced by the online real money gaming industry.
Theme of the Moot
The theme for this year is:
“Competition Concerns in Online Real Money Games”
Participants will explore the CCI’s observations on competition issues within this sector, analyze the concept of “special responsibility” under Indian law, and compare it with the U.S. framework where no such responsibility exists.
Competition Format
- Preliminary and Quarter-Final Rounds: Virtual (Feb 21-22, 2025)
- Semi-Final and Final Rounds: Physical (CNLU Campus, Apr 5, 2025)
