Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology (NMIET), Pune, established in 2008, is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Maharashtra Government’s Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The institute is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and is accredited by both NBA and NAAC.
NMIET invites applications for teaching jobs and non-teaching positions as part of its faculty recruitment.
Teaching Positions Available:
- Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence / Data Science)
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Qualifications:
- Ph.D., Master’s, and Bachelor’s Degree with First Class in all preceding degrees in the relevant field of Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years at the Associate Professor level.
- Must have guided at least 2 Ph.D. students.
- API score over 130.
Specialization Required:
For AI and Data Science:
- Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Python, and Computer Engineering.
Candidate Profile:
- Faculty capable of conducting R&D and consultancy work will be preferred.
- Candidates who can promote patents, run Entrepreneurship Development Cells (EDC), and foster Industry Interaction, Innovation, Tinkering Labs, and other value-added programs are desirable.
- Administrative experience is an added advantage.
Non-Teaching Positions Available:
- Administrative Officer (Trust Level)
- At least 15 years of experience in a large educational trust.
- Must be well-versed in documentation, liaising with Charity Commissioners, legal firms, and government offices.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and related software.
- Law degree preferred.
- Training & Placement Officer (Middle Level)
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in engineering. MBA is a plus.
- Relevant experience in placement roles, preferably in educational institutions.
- Strong communication, networking skills, and knowledge of industry trends.
- Purchase Officer (Engineering College)
- Graduate in any field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement.
- Proficiency in English communication, negotiation, and record-keeping is essential.
- Accounts Executive (Junior Level)
- Master’s degree in finance with 4-5 years’ experience in educational accounting.
- Familiarity with Tally and other accounting software is required.
- HR Executive (Junior Level)
- MBA in HR or equivalent, with 4-5 years of experience in engineering colleges or the corporate sector.
- Should have managed payroll, pay fixation, leave management, and be familiar with AICTE/UGC norms.
Job Location:
Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, Maharashtra.
Pay Scale:
As per norms.
