Visiting Faculty in Industrial Engineering at Quinnipiac University

Position Description:

Responsibilities of this teaching position include:

  • Teaching undergraduate courses across various industrial engineering topics
  • Mentoring, guiding, and advising students
  • Participating in university and community service initiatives
  • Contributing to the academic mission of the School of Computing and Engineering

Qualifications:

Required Education:

  • PhD in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
  • ABD candidates currently in a PhD program will be considered

Preferred Experience:

  • Teaching expertise in Lean Systems, Production Systems, Engineering Economics, and Management
  • Ability to teach interdisciplinary courses in mechanical engineering or computer science
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industrial engineering practices and trends
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and academic excellence
