Department Hiring: School of Computing and Engineering
Position Description:
Responsibilities of this teaching position include:
- Teaching undergraduate courses across various industrial engineering topics
- Mentoring, guiding, and advising students
- Participating in university and community service initiatives
- Contributing to the academic mission of the School of Computing and Engineering
Qualifications:
Required Education:
- PhD in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
- ABD candidates currently in a PhD program will be considered
Preferred Experience:
- Teaching expertise in Lean Systems, Production Systems, Engineering Economics, and Management
- Ability to teach interdisciplinary courses in mechanical engineering or computer science
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of industrial engineering practices and trends
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and academic excellence
