Essential Qualifications
- PhD with first class in the preceding degree
- Excellent academic record throughout
Experience Requirements
- Professor: Minimum 10 years post-PhD experience, including 4 years as Associate Professor at IITs/IISc/IIMs/IISERs/NITIE
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of teaching/research experience, including 3 years as Assistant Professor/Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 3 years of post-PhD research/teaching/industry experience (PhD period not counted)
Pay Scale
- Professor: Pay Level 14A, ₹1,59,100/- initial
- Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2, ₹1,39,600/- initial
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12, ₹1,01,500/- initial
- Eligible candidates may progress to Pay Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400/-) after 3 years of service, subject to performance review
