Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong invites online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for various faculty positions across multiple academic areas. Areas of Specialization
Applications are invited for the following academic disciplines:
- Economics & Public Policy – Specialization in macro/microeconomics, development economics, or policy analysis.
- Finance & Control – Expertise in financial management, accounting, corporate finance, or fintech.
- Information Systems & Analytics – Proficiency in business analytics, AI, data management, or digital transformation.
- Marketing – Specialization in marketing analytics, consumer behavior, branding, or digital marketing.
- Operations & Quantitative Techniques – Focus on supply chain, operations strategy, optimization, and applied statistics.
- Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources – Expertise in HRM, leadership, industrial psychology, or people analytics.
- Strategy & Liberal Studies – Including specialization in Business Communication and Business Laws.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Ph.D. or equivalent in relevant discipline with consistent academic performance.
- Experience:
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience with at least 4 years as Associate Professor.
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of teaching/research experience with publications in reputed journals.
- Assistant Professor: Fresh Ph.D. holders or candidates with postdoctoral/industry experience preferred.
- Research Requirements: Proven record of scholarly publications, teaching excellence, and academic leadership.
Reservation Policy
