About the Institution

The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT), established on January 4, 2011, is the eleventh IIM in India. Located in the vibrant city of Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, IIM Trichy operates from its 175-acre state-of-the-art campus on the Trichy-Pudukottai highway, just 11 km from Tiruchirappalli International Airport. The institute is known for its excellence in management education, research, and leadership development.

Eligibility Criteria

Professor

  • Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 4 years as Associate Professor in reputed institutions such as IITs, IISc, IIMs, IISERs, or equivalent.
  • Strong record in teaching, research, training, and consulting.

Associate Professor

  • Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, with 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
  • Consistent academic excellence throughout.

Assistant Professor

  • Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or industrial experience.

  • Professor: Level 14A
  • Associate Professor: Level 13A2
