Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Aviation Academic Principal to lead our academic operations and drive the institution’s mission of delivering exceptional aviation education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation, academic leadership, and a passion for fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of aviation-related academic programs.
• Ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in aviation.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and research within the institution.

Faculty Management:

• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
• Provide professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.

Student Success:

• Monitor student progress, academic performance, and overall satisfaction.
• Implement strategies to support student retention, engagement, and career readiness.
• Act as a role model and mentor to students, guiding them toward successful careers in aviation.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the institution’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for program expansion, partnerships, and industry collaborations.
• Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and regulatory meetings.

Compliance and Accreditation:

• Ensure compliance with national and international aviation education standards and regulations.
• Lead accreditation processes and maintain relationships with relevant regulatory bodies.

Operational Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day academic operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Ensure the effective use of technology and infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Aviation, Aerospace, Education, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation education, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of academic program development and faculty management.
• Experience with accreditation processes and regulatory compliance.
• Passion for aviation education and student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in Aviation or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Principal, Dean, or Academic Director in an aviation institution.
• Industry experience as a pilot, air traffic controller, or aviation professional.
