Key Responsibilities: Academic Leadership: Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of aviation-related academic programs. Ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in aviation. Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and research within the institution. Faculty Management: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences. Provide professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance their skills and knowledge. Promote a collaborative and inclusive academic environment. Student Success: Monitor student progress, academic performance, and overall satisfaction. Implement strategies to support student retention, engagement, and career readiness. Act as a role model and mentor to students, guiding them toward successful careers in aviation. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the institution's strategic goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for program expansion, partnerships, and industry collaborations. Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and regulatory meetings. Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with national and international aviation education standards and regulations. Lead accreditation processes and maintain relationships with relevant regulatory bodies. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day academic operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting. Ensure the effective use of technology and infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning. Qualifications: A Master’s degree or higher in Aviation, Aerospace, Education, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation education, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. In-depth knowledge of aviation industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of academic program development and faculty management. Experience with accreditation processes and regulatory compliance. Passion for aviation education and student success. Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Aviation or a related field. Prior experience as a Principal, Dean, or Academic Director in an aviation institution.
