Teaching Assistant

• Type: Full-Time Contractual
• Duration: March 03, 2025 – May 16, 2025

Role Summary

Teaching Assistants will support the teaching-learning process at the Foundation Programme Studios. They will assist in lectures and coordinate afternoon activities.

Responsibilities

Teaching Assistants will:

• Assist faculty in developing and improving course materials.
• Guide students during activity sessions.
• Identify learning gaps and facilitate a better understanding of concepts.
• Manage and assess assignments, presentations, class participation, and projects.
• Support classroom discipline and maintain attendance records.
• Provide feedback to faculty on student progress and follow up on required actions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by faculty.

Key Skills

• Proficiency in English with effective communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and student-friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Desirable: Experience in college-level research, citing, referencing, or annotating.
• Desirable: Prior exposure or experience in teaching.

Qualifications

Candidates with the following degrees are eligible:

• BA/BCom/BBA
• MA/MCom/MBA
• Bachelors in Architecture/Planning/Geography
• BSc/MSc
• Other relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees

Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications.
