Eligibility Criteria
For Specialty Subjects:
- Medical Qualification: Listed in the I or II schedule, or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Those listed in part II must meet the conditions in section 13(3) of the Act.
- Postgraduate Qualification: Recognized qualification such as MD/MS or equivalent in the relevant discipline.
For Super-specialty Subjects:
- Medical Qualification: As listed above.
- Postgraduate Qualification: MD/MS or equivalent.
- Additional Qualification: M.Ch. for surgical super specialties or D.M. for medical super specialties (recognized 2, 3, or 5/6-year courses).
Minimum Teaching / Research Experience:
- Professor: 14 years.
- Additional Professor: 10 years.
- Associate Professor: 6 to 3 years.
- Assistant Professor: 3 to 1 years.
Selection Process
The selection for these teaching positions will be based on an interview.

- ₹2360 for General/OBC/EWS candidates.
- ₹1180 for SC/ST candidates.
- No fee for PwBD candidates.
