Teaching Positions Available at AMU

Department of Dermatology

1. Professor (1 Post)
   • Qualifications: MD/MS/DNB in Dermatology.
   • Experience:
     • Three years as an Associate Professor in a recognized medical institution.
     • Four research publications (two as an Associate Professor) in indexed journals.
     • Completion of Medical Education Technology and Biomedical Research courses from institutions designated by NMC.
2. Associate Professor (1 Post)
   • Qualifications: MD/MS/DNB in Dermatology.
   • Experience:
     • Four years as an Assistant Professor in a recognized medical institution.
     • Two research publications in indexed journals.
     • Completion of Medical Education Technology and Biomedical Research courses from institutions designated by NMC.

Documents Required (Self-attested):

• High School Certificate
• Mark-sheet and Degree of Graduation
• Mark-sheet and Degree of Post-Graduation
• Certificate of NET, JRF, SLET/SET, CSIR (if applicable)
• M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree (if applicable)
• Experience Certificates (if applicable)
• Other relevant certificates (e.g., Madarsa certificates equivalent to high school or graduation, if applicable)

Note: Ensure that all documents are self-attested, and any missing or incomplete documentation will result in the application being rejected.

Experience Certificate Guidelines:

• The experience certificate should include the following:
  • Date of appointment
  • Duration and period of appointment
  • Pay scale, Pay Band, or Pay Level
• The certificate must be issued by the Registrar of the concerned university (or General Manager for industry positions).
  Certificates from other authorities such as the Principal, Director, or Head of Department will not be accepted.

Pay Levels:

• Professor (AL-14): ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200
• Associate Professor (AL-13A): ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100

General Instructions for Applicants for Aligarh Muslim University Teaching Position:

1. Application Submission:
   • Apply online via the University’s Careers Portal or by clicking on the Apply Now button.
   • A separate application form must be filled out for each post under different serial numbers of the advertisement.
   • Processing Fee: ₹500 (non-refundable) to be paid online.
     • PwD candidates are exempted from payment upon submission of a valid disability certificate.
2. How to Apply:
   • After submitting the online form:
     • Print the PDF of the form on A-4 size paper.
     • Sign and paste a recent photograph in the designated area.
     • Attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents, including the receipt of processing fees.
   • Send the completed form and documents by post to:
