Assistant and Associate Professor Vacancy in School of Innovation at IIT Indore

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor (Grade I)

  • Qualification: Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with an excellent academic record throughout.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of industrial/research/teaching experience, excluding the experience gained while pursuing a Ph.D.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.

Assistant Professor (Grade II)

  • Qualification: Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with an excellent academic record throughout.
  • Contract Basis: The position will be on a contract basis.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 32 years.

Associate Professor

  • Qualification: Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with an excellent academic record throughout.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of six years of teaching/industry/research experience.
    • At least three years of experience at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade I), Senior Scientific Officer, or Senior Design Engineer.

Scale of Pay

  • Assistant Professor (Grade I): ₹1,01,500–₹1,86,611
  • Assistant Professor (Grade II): ₹70,900–₹1,33,673
  • Associate Professor: ₹1,39,600–₹2,52,524

Additional Benefits:

  • Allowances: Dearness Allowance (D.A.), House Rent Allowance (H.R.A.), and Transport Allowance (T.A.) as per GOI rules.
  • Benefits: LTC, Children Education Allowance, and contribution towards the New Pension Scheme (NPS).
